| While travelling to the Center, the guide claimed that lots of scenes from the film "Jurassic Park" were shot right here on Oahu (not Costa Rica or wherever it was they claimed on the film). This pair of photographs is just sooo convincing. You can almost make out the outline of a Tyrannosaur in the distance. |
| At the Center itself they demonstrated the traditional ways of life of the various peoples of Polynesia. This seemed to boil down to demonstrating how to pick cocconuts and set them on fire. The scene with the flames was so exciting that I forgot to take a picture. Sorry. |
